How?!?!?



If you made something – a record, a book, a zine, a movie
and want it to be part of Copenhagen Public Libraries all you have to do is this:
  1. Download the Contract Here(Dansk)(English)
  2. Fill in the contract. In the contract you declare that you have all copyrights to the work your submitting. Also remember to fill in your contact info and a few tags. The tags should describe the work – they will be searchable in the library database. Eg. “Forest trance”, “Live recording”. We recommend that you also write your contact info directly on the work your submitting. This will make bookers / fans /record agents /other artists able to contact you.
  3. Stop by one of theDemoteket Libraries

  1. with 1-3 copies of your work and a filled in contract and give it to the staff OR send it to

  1. That’s it. Then you just have to wait for your work to be catalogued and distributed to the three Demoteket Libraries.

You alone are responsible for the copyrights of any work you submit to Demoteket.
You have to make sure that your work does not violate the copyright of anyone else.

If you are submitting a music record / cd /tape etc. you must have cleared all copyrights – also for the cover.
Don’t panic – you can contact Koda – they know everything about music copyrights.

If you are submitting a movie make sure that all images, sounds and music are cleared.
